Hello! Here we are on day two of the TRBC process for learning anime/manga style. If you don't recall, TRBC is Trace, Reference, Blind, Correct. I found an image on Pinterest for today and did a screenshot of a character and imported it into Rebelle Pro 8. As you can see below, the traced version is pretty much spot on 1:1 of the original portrait. The Reference version had some issues and I did what I could for taking notes on it. The Blind draw had a few things correct from my sketch and then harder lines over that. Still, there was a lot to be desired.

I feel like there is more to learn everyday and I do look at my anime/manga drawing books as well. There are two other things I mean to do as part of the TRBC method, and that is to do a Master study, and chip away at a portfolio piece for the week. Earlier today I did ten gesture drawings and selected one of them for my portfolio piece this week while following Hidari Mimi's Sketch to Render method. I will need to do my Master study on break tomorrow as well as tackle some of the portfolio piece.
