For today's adventure, I attempted to do a linocut transfer of an image of Yor Forger from Spy x Family. I cut the image and taped a corner of it to the rubber block I got in my printing kit for christmas.

From what I read, I could use gel matte acrylic medium. (Spoiler: I have none.) Or I could use acetone and burnish it. Apparently, the type of acetone you use and how much you use matters! I read that the image can be dabbed with acetone and in my impatience... I doused the back of the image, causing problems.

I burnished the image as best I could with a measuring cup trying to will the image onto the rubber block. But alas, a very very faint image appeared on the block, but not dark enough for me to be guided when I start carving the details. So! I will be ordering some get matte acrylic medium and trying that method.

I considered using the AR Drawing app that I have on my phone, but I wanted to get a 1:1 image transferred without hand drawing the details when I have a viable image available. I will try this again when I get the gel matte medium and post an update!

Thank you for reading.
