I finished up the linocut carving process for Yor Forger from Spy x Family. I will be conducting Artist Proofs (APs) this week to test the transfer of the image in black ink onto paper. As I understand it, it will take a few prints to get the right amount of ink on the block before burnishing the paper and transferring the inked image. I have a second linocut block that I will begin carving after I do the APs.

The other image has a lot of extra details and it will need more focus and attention compared to Yor. Regardless, besides the APs this week, I will be shifting gears on my illustration focus to improve the skill over the coming weeks/months to better illustrate images that will transfer well to linocut block. My emphasis in illustration will be in the manga/anime style. The bold lines and dynamism will transfer well to linocut, in my opinion.
